The Depth-Psychotherapy Network is a peer-reviewed site. You can view a list of the Site Editorial & Management Board and a list of Site Contributors. The site was intentionally modeled after the peer-review journal system in order assure contributions to the site are of a professional quality.

Professionals are encouraged to submit theoretical overviews for clients & students, articles, and other resources to the site. Professionals will receive full credit for their contributions.

The intentions of this site is for it to remain a community service for consumers, students, and professionals. The site is currently funded by Louis Hoffman, Ph.D., and all editors, reviewers, and contributors volunteer their services without financial compensation. There is no fee involved with having your practice listed on the site. These services are free. All submissions are reviewed by one or more members of the editorial staff before being included on the referral page.

While contributors may benefit from having their practice listed on the referral page or through adding contributions to their vita, it is an integral part of the mission of the site that the site remains based on a volunteer and community service model.

The Depth Psychotherapy Network believes in the value of depth psychotherapy for individuals and our society. In our current social, economic, and political environment, the voice of depth psychotherapy has become more faint. This site intends to provide accurate, honest information about the advantages and limitations of depth psychotherapy.

The Depth Psychotherapy Network has three primary goals:

    1) To education the public about depth psychotherapy and clarify misperceptions.

    2) To educate and excite future therapists about depth psychotherapy.

    3) To provide free, quality resources for professionals including collaboration opportunities, networking resources, and professional articles.

Please let us know how we are doing in accomplishing these goals by contacting us.
